THE SANDYFORD MINIBUS SERVICE

Background
Caring Hands Charity made an application to The Lotteries Fund on behalf of The Sandyford Community. A grant was awarded to purchase a minibus for the use of the people and groups within The Sandyford Community.

Who can Book?
Community groups and Organisations can use the minibus for outings, day trips to places of interest, scout meetings, football clubs and carers groups etc. You do not have to be a Registered Charity, but you must provide information on your group to establish its role in the community.

To book on – line please click onto the Booking Form link below, please allow at least 10 days prior to the dates you wish to book.

A Valid Driving Permit
You must hold a Valid Driving Permit, which can be obtained from the Caring Hands Office. You must be over 25 years of age and hold a Current, Clean, Full driving Licence.

How Much Does It Cost
The current cost for the hire of the minibus is 90p per mile, there is no deposit required and you will be invoiced for the miles used. Additional charges will be imposed if the bus is not returned in a satisfactory condition. A full list of rules will be issued with the Valid Permit. A Daily Driver Checklist must be completed at the beginning and end of each journey. Please click on to the link above to view the Checklist.
